Happy Thursday everyone! I've been editing like a crazy person this entire week because Jackson and I leave for vacation next week and I'm planning on enjoying every moment of it and take an actual break from working. ;) Today I finished up the Mapes wedding! It was SO fun going through all their photos, remembering how sweet this wedding was!
I met Sarah and Andy last year at a Starbucks in Knoxville and knew right away that I was going to have the best time working with them. We did their engagement session last fall on Sarah's family's property in the Smokies. It was great getting to know Sarah and Andy a little more, meet Sarah's dog, and the rest of the Cruise family. We ended their engagement session by taking photos at a bonfire, cuddled up under a blanket in 70 degree heat. LOL! It was the best.
They were married this past May at Enchanted Valley Barn in Sevierville, TN. This was my first time shooting at Enchanged Valley Barn and I absolutely loved it! The barn is nestled in the Smokies and as you can imagine (and will see in the photos below) the property was gorgeous! Rolling hills, a small pond, a beautiful area for the bride to get ready in...Ahhh! This venue was just so pretty!
The weather ended up being absolutely beautiful for their outdoor ceremony, we took lots of photos at golden hour, Sarah and Andy had the best time dancing with their friends and family, and the night ended with a sparkler send off. <3
Echelon Florist did Sarah's flowers and I couldn't stop taking photos of them!!! They were STUNNING. Everything from the bridal bouquet, to Sarah's flower crown, to the center pieces. It was all amazing. Margaret Claires did the wedding coordinating for the Mapes wedding. It's always a joy to work with Kristy and her team when I'm in Knoxville! Margaret Clarires works so hard to ensure that every detail of your day is perfect. They are the best!
