Nashville, TN is known for its music, food, and vibrant culture, and this fun couple's modern wedding perfectly captured the city's spirit. Erin and Nick were some of the trendiest, coolest people I had ever met, and it was a joy to be able to walk with them through their engagement to wedding day. 

Everyone was so calm the morning the wedding and the anticipation for what was to come was palpable. Erin and her bridesmaids started the day getting ready at her parents house while the groomsmen were at a cool barber shop downtown Nashville. We snapped some sweet shots of Erin and her golden retriever, Decker and then headed over to the venue.

Their wedding was held at Marathon Music works which is a music and concert venue in Nashville. This venue was truly the perfect fit for Erin and Nick. The details of the wedding were as perfect as the couple themselves. From the extravagant decor to the delicious food to the most lively dance floor, everything about this wedding was incredible. The love that Nick and Erin shared was evident throughout every moment of the day, and their excitement to begin their lives as husband and wife was an honor to document.

Lively Nashville Wedding at the beautiful Saint Elle Venue

This day held the most beautiful wedding, filled with so much love and sweetness. Melissa and Taylor were the epitome of lovebirds, and their bridal party was a big and fun-loving group of friends. It made for an unbelievable wedding day. 

The wedding took place at the stunning Saint Elle venue in Nashville, TN. With its historic architecture and modern touches, it was the perfect setting for a day filled with love, laughter, and all the intentional details that Melissa and Taylor so well planned out.

One of my favorite parts of the day was the sweet first look between the couple. It started with the reading of handwritten letters they wrote to each other, a lot of excited anticipation, and the sweetest embrace. Their love and excitement were palpable, and this moment set the tone for the rest of the day.

The bridal party was just as amazing as the couple. They were some of the most lively and supportive people that I encountered. They made the day even more special, and their joy was contagious.

The details of the day were incredibly intentional and represented the couple so well. From Melissa's blooming bouquet to the thoughtful parent gifts to personalized napkins to unique food and cake to disco balls to Jeni’s ice cream as a late night snack - the day was so perfectly planned. 

Ultimately, the wedding was a celebration of the love that surrounded Melissa and Taylor, and it will always be remembered as a beautiful, sweet, and love-filled day, full of intentional details.

Gorgeous Intimate Wedding at Cheekwood Gardens | Nashville, Tennessee

Goodness, anytime I have the opportunity to shoot at Cheekwood in Nashville Tennessee is an absolute dream come true. It’s one of my favorite locations because of the insanely beautiful landscape that make photos look like they’re straight out of a fairytale. Cheekwood is the perfect backdrop for weddings and I especially have loved the few micro weddings I’ve done there.

Amanda and Daniel are the sweetest couple from the Chicago area. They chose to do a intimate destination wedding at Cheekwood gardens in Nashville, Tennessee with some of their closest friends and family by their side. It was a perfect September day with gorgeous blue skies and warm weather. The ceremony was held in the Wisteria Arbor at Cheekwood which is one of my favorite locations on the property for a ceremony. It is intimate and small and the backdrop is to die for with the beautiful rolling hills of Middle Tennessee.

We did a first look before the ceremony and spent a good amount of time taking portraits of Daniel and Amanda together. Thats my favorite part. I love getting to spend an extended amount of slow time with the bride and groom getting lots of photos of just the two of them. Amandas flowers, hair and makeup were all perfect. She was a vision of beauty!

The dinner and reception was held in the Loggia area which was set up beautifuly by Emily and her team with As We Gather Events. I’ve worked with Emily a few times and it’s always such a joy to be a part of a wedding that she coordinates. The dinner area was absolutely stunning. So intimate and sweet. The catering staff (Dream Catering) did an incredible job with the food and the DJ kept the party going all night long on the patio when they were done eating.
