Kati and Justin were married on an exceptionally beautiful spring day in March. When I arrived at the venue, everything was so calm and quiet. This is pretty much how the entire day went— just so peaceful. Light was pouring the windows at their venue, Jackson Terminal and it created the perfect ambiance for photos.

Kati and Justin were original supposed to get married at The Pavillion At Hunter Valley Farm, but about a month before the wedding, the venue was flooded by a horrible storm. You can read a little bit more about the damage to the venue here. SO incredibly sad to see this venue hurting, but they were quickly back on their feet after a few weeks. Because of the damage, Kati and Justin had to switch venues. HVP did a phenomenal job working with Kati and Justin to ensure that there day was perfect, despite having to switch venues at the last minute.

Kati was so incredibly understanding about everything. Even on her wedding day, she was so laid back—just soaking everything in. I loved working with her because she is extremely kind and thoughtful. She brought me a Smoothie King Smoothie ON THE MORNING OF HER WEDDING. Who does that???

Swank Floral did an amazing job on the bouquets and the florals around the venue! I always love working with their sweet team of girls. Kati’s dress was a dream to photograph. She got it from Lovliest Bridal and it was sooooo twirly and beautiful.

Their first look is one I will always remember. They decided to stand back to back and read letters that they had written to each other before Justin turned around for the official reveal. It was so special and such an emotional moment.

Kati and Justin were married with their best friends and family by their side. Their ceremony was short and to the point. Their first dance as husband and wife was so sweet, and I teared up a little watching them dance with their mom and dad during the mother/son, father/daughter dances.

Kati’s sister wrote an emotional speech for the toasts that had everyone crying. Jim Ogle brought the party as he always does. He is my absolute fave DJ in Knoxville. (Shhhh! :))There were so many activities for the guests. Beer (water) pong, corn hole on the porch, and a Photo Booth.  The couple did a fake send off so they could go back to dancing the night away. Such a fun time.

Congrats, Mr. and Mrs. Steiner!!!
